One of the primary goals of the Village is to provide the citizens with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. In order to do this, backflow prevention regulations must be addressed. The Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 3745-95 requires that an approved backflow prevention device be installed on each service line to a consumer’s water system serving premises, where a health, pollution, or system hazard to the public water system may exist. This rule also requires that each device be inspected annually by a certified tester. To check the status of compliance related to your backflow prevention device, please click
