The Park Board meets the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Administrative Office at the Municipal Building, 136 N. Oak Street, Ottawa, Ohio.
Park Board responsibilities include the following:
The control and management of the parks, park entrances, parkways, boulevards, connecting viaducts, subways, children’s playgrounds, and public baths and stations of public comfort located in such parks, and all improvements thereon, and the acquisition, construction, repair, and maintenance thereof.
Shelterhouse Information
Shelter houses are available for rent in Memorial Park or in the Waterworks Park. Reservations are accepted for Saturdays, Sundays and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. There are currently twelve shelters in Memorial Park and one gazebo and newly renovated shelter in the Waterworks Park. The rental cost for any of the shelters listed is $20.00 for one day.
