Water Ordinance Amendment
An ordinance amending Section 921.01 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Ottawa had its first reading on July 25, 2022. This amendment applies to Section 921.01(c) and will allow the Village to terminate water service for accounts which remain unpaid for a period of forty-five (45) days past the due date. This amendment also specifies the fees associated with the disconnection/reconnection totaling $50.00. The next reading of this ordinance will be August 8, 2022 and the third reading and vote by Village Council will take place August 22, 2022.
Thursday Night Farmers Market
Interested in being a vendor at the Village of Ottawa's Thursday night Farmers Market? We would LOVE to have you! Our Farmers Market is part of "Thursdays At The Rex" where each Thursday evening in June, July & August live entertainment can be enjoyed at the Rex Pavilion along with an assortment of food trucks and a farmers market. This all takes place at 100 E. Main Street in Downtown Ottawa.
Village Council meetings are being offered via Zoom during this time of social distancing. Please contact the Clerk's Office for meeting details. Meetings are held the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
