Mission Statement

"To plan and maintain trees along our streets and within our parks and public places in a manner that physically, economically and aesthetically benefits the Village of Ottawa and its residents."

Responsibilities
The Commission’s general responsibilities are to provide leadership in the selection and establishment of trees planted in the public right-of-way. It is also a liaison to Village residents in the proper care, maintenance and removal of trees within Village right-of-ways.

"Adopt a Tree"

The Village now has an "Adopt-a-Tree" program available. This new program will allow residents to have a tree planted in the right-of-way. Please view our Plant a Tree Form (PDF).
