At the January 9, 2023 Council meeting, Ordinance No. 23-01 was passed opting to exercise a fifth year contract option with Werlor, Inc.  The Village has been with Werlor, Inc. from Defiance since April 1, 2019, for residential trash pick-up. Their phone number is 1-800-582-3433. The rates are: $15.70 per household per month for recycling (2 times per month) and four bags of trash weekly with a 96 gallon container.  The rate is $14.90 per month for recycling (2 times per month) and two bags of trash weekly with a 60 gallon container.  Werlor will be servicing the entire Village on Tuesday with recycled materials being picked up every other Tuesday of each month.  Werlor will provide an extra bag service for $2.25 per bag; however, you must subscribe to the weekly service. These bags are available at the Municipal Building on Oak Street.  Due to the rising cost of fuel, a $3.00/quarter ($1.00/month) fuel recovery fee will be charged by Werlor, Inc.
